Hours: 10 AM - 6 PM (1 hour daily prep time, which is from 10 AM - 11 AM; lunch 12 - 1 (no lunch w/students)
Schedule Details:
11:00 - 11:50 - Kindergarten age 6
12:00 - 1:00 - Lunch
1:00 - 1:50 - Kindergarten age 6
2:00 - 2:50 - Kindergarten age 6
3:00 - 4:00 - Extended Kindergarten (game-based learning)
4:10 - 5:50 - Elementary class
Pay: 2.5M-2.8M base pay. After the contract is renewed, teachers receive an added 100,000W each year they sign.
Age group: 5 to 7 years old (Kindy) and 1st-3rd grade Elementary
Start: hiring one for ASAP (start after the visa process) & 2-3 for March 1st, 2024
Benefits: Standard
· Monthly Pay: 2.6M-2.8M base pay | overtime pay is also provided.
· Loft or single room housing available or 400,000 is housing stipend.
· One-way airfare (from home country to Korea)
· Three weeks of vacation as well as Korean Holidays / red days.
· Severance bonus upon the completion of the 1-year contract
· Medical Insurance: 50% of the National Insurance premium paid for by our school
· Monthly contribution to the National Pension Fund
Other: The Academic Director is fluent in English and was a teacher and head teacher before becoming Director. The School’s Early Childhood Program is modeled upon Canadian early childhood practice. The program is designed to educate the whole child – physically, intellectually, emotionally, and socially. We're about 45 minutes away from South Seoul. Materials used are book-based learning with songs and dance for the students. Books are fun and interactive and are finished monthly. Materials and scheduling already made.
